A desert in bloom, it always amazes me that life finds a way. Rock and brush in this park living in harmony.
I just love the boulders in this park. They are fractured in all sorts of ways, it looks like they were piled up on top of each other.
Peering through the tree needles at a rising first quarter Moon. I thought this was neat shot.
Something about the way all these rocks are slanted just really caught my eye. How could they get like this? A geologist could tell us, but I'm not geologist.
I've always had a thing for shadow silhouette shots. It feels like an unintrusive way to document myself and the landscape.
My favorite part of the park, the cactus garden. In the setting sun, the needles of these cholla's seem to glow.
