I made good time on the way up the coast from Irvine to Vancouver. These bay along the See-to-Sky Highway really caught my eye, so peaceful.

On the way back down the fun began. We crossed this old bridge and I caught the image of Mt. Hood in the mirror. Had to pull over and take a real shot.

Crater Lake National Park, the prime reason for this road trip. I am still amazed at how high the cliffs are above the water and how they continue to plunge at the surface, no beaches.

Burney Falls state park, where the water seems to gush out of the rocks themselves. A small rainbow graced our viewing.

The peak of Mt. Lassen in Lassen National Park. It's late July and yet this pond remains cyan frozen blue all year round.
